People really started to take notice of Ryan in the remake of the horror classic The Amityville Horror in 2005. In one of the most memorable scenes of the film, Ryan is angrily chopping wood shirtless. It was clear that he had really hit the gym for the role. He had clearly gained muscle, but was very lean with clearly defined abs. Women across the country swooned while their husbands and boyfriends looked down at their guts. Even though he had gained muscle, he didn’t look like some meathead monster.

The Hollywood Look is about looking fit and muscular on the beach, but also being able to look good in stylish clothes. The guys who do endless heavyweight squats and deadlifts develop legs so big they have trouble finding pants that fit. That bulky look is not what today’s hottest stars have and it turns off most women.

Blade: Trinity Was the Film That Really Made People Take Notice
Amityville made people notice, but it was Blade: Trinity that caused jaws to drop and had people googling Ryan Reynolds Workout. He played vampire hunter Hannibal King and reportedly gained 20 pounds of muscle in about 5 months and slashed his already low body fat down to 3%. It’s debatable whether or not it was actually that low, but anything in the single digits is incredibly lean. And, even though he gained a lot of muscle he still doesn’t look like a huge bodybuilder.

In the film, he has the fit, muscled look of an Abercrombie model. Again, most women love this look. Ryan Reynolds Blade workout certainly paid dividends for the attention he got in the film as well as for his future career.

Reynolds starred in another comic book adaptation a few years later. In the summer of 2009, Reynolds played the Marvel comics’ character Deadpool in the first Wolverine film (X-Men Origins: Wolverine).

Once again, Reynolds was in great shape, but the Ryan Reynolds Deadpool workout was a little bit different than the Ryan Reynolds workout Blade edition. In Wolverine, he’s just as lean as in Blade, but doesn’t appear to have quite as much mass.

He still looks great, and has plenty of muscle. And, this look is closer to his natural body type. While not as big as he was playing Hannibal King, he still has a body most would be envious of. As usual, Ryan Reynolds ab workout always pays off. Reynolds says that he starts every workout off with ab exercises.

Ryan Reynolds workout routine for Green Lantern was much the same as for his previous films. He may be the most ripped he’s ever been in the DC comics film. Ryan Reynolds workout plan consists of working different body parts on different days. So, arms on Monday, Back on Tues, Chest on Wednesday, and so on.

Ryan Reynolds Workout Diet

No matter how great your fitness program, or how much you workout, you’re not going to see the results you truly desire without a good diet. Reynolds, and just about any trainer, will tell you that diet is a huge part of the equation. So Ryan Reynolds workout diet consisted of foods such as this:

- Lean meats, chicken, and fish
- Good carbs like sweet potatoes, yams, brown rice, and oatmeal
- Plenty of fruits and vegetables
- Plenty of water throughout the day
- Meal replacement bars. His trainer has him eat these all the time, and it’s one of Ryan’s secret weapons. To check out the exact meal replacement bar he uses, click here.

He ate 6 small meals per day and had a good balance of proteins and carbs.

Most People Trying to Create Their Own Program Are Doing it All Wrong
As far as the exact workout and diet plan he followed goes, celebrities and their trainers tend to be vague and tight-lipped about exactly what to do. Most information you find online about the Ryan Reynolds workout says eat every few hours and work a different muscle group each day. And most workout routines focus on ‘lifting heavy’ and ‘getting massive’. This is the exact opposite of what you want to do if you want to look like Ryan Reynolds.

But, there is one program online that you can follow to get the lean, ripped, muscular look of Ryan Reynolds. It’s called Visual Impact Muscle Building and it’s the only program you’ll find anywhere that will show you exactly what to do to get the Hollywood Look. It will show you how to gain muscle in the right places in the correct way and look the way you’ve always wanted to.

It was created by a guy named Rusty Moore, who after years of training, created a method you’ll find anywhere that will show you how to get in shape the way celebrities get in shape for movies. They don’t get all bulky and ‘massive’ like bodybuilders. They build lean muscle and sculpt six pack abs.

Visual Impact Muscle Building is the program I personally use, and it’s the best workout I’ve ever done. It consists of three phases which are 2 months each (with a ‘secret’ phase thrown in for when you need to get extra ripped for an event like a wedding or a vacation on the beach.

The workouts only take about forty-five minutes each, so you won’t be spending hours and hours in the gym.

I really can’t recommend Visual Impact highly enough. It’s a great workout.

Is a Ryan Reynolds Batman Movie in the Works?

Might We Soon be Seeing a Ryan Reynolds Batman Movie?

A rumor has cropped up in recent months that when Batman is inevitably rebooted in the next few years, Ryan Reynolds may play the Caped Crusader. The rumor also states that the film would be directed by Duncan Jones, son of David Bowie and director of the excellent 2009 science fiction film Moon, featuring an amazing performance by Sam Rockwell.

It appears that a Ryan Reynolds Batman franchise is probably just a hoax or an April Fool’s Joke, but that doesn’t mean that it can’t or won’t happen. So, I would like to speculate on how I think Ryan Reynolds work work in this iconic role.

What Would a Ryan Reynolds Batman Film Be Like?

A lot of this would have much more to do with the writer or writers and the director of the next Batman than it would Reynolds himself. If WB decides to go ahead with a Ryan Reynolds Batman film, they will probably go with a unique spin we haven’t seen before.

We’ve seen three distinct visions of Batman since 1989:

BatmanFirst we had Tim Burton’s signature gothic style in 1989′s megahit Batman and its even more gothic and weirder 1992 sequel Batman Returns. Burton borrowed heavily from Frank Miller’s groundbreaking Dark Knight comics, and the character was much darker than  he was portrayed in the campy 1960′s TV show.

Both films starred Michael Keaton. There was much trepidation among the fanboy community about him taking on the role. They felt he was just a comedic actor, and was too small to play Batman. The rubberized suit took care of any size issues, and Keaton proved to be a great choice for the brooding superhero. For my money, Keaton is the best Batman ever.

In 1995, Joel Schumacher came onboard the franchise. Schumacher brought day-glo and bat nipples to Gotham City for Batman Forever. Val Kilmer was Schumacher’s Bruce Wayne/Batman. Kilmer is a great actor, and did a fine job, but he was somewhat overshadowed by Jim Carrey as The Riddler and Tommy Lee Jones as Two-Face. Batman Forever was another big hit.

Two years later, Schumacher was behind the camera once again to direct Batman & Robin. This time, George Clooney donned the cape and cowl. Fans were not happy with this one as it featured a lot of cheese with Alicia Silverstone as Batgirl and Arnold Schwarzenegger portraying Mr. Freeze. Clooney has been quoted as saying that he single handedly ruined Batman, but it wasn’t his fault. A bad script, bad casting, and poor direction were the culprits.

With the relative failure of Batman & Robin, Warner Brothers went in a different direction when it came time to release another movie. Director Christopher Nolan was brought on for Batman Begins with Christian Bale, and it is the most realistic take yet – more like a drama than a movie based on a comic book. The movie did well, and was followed by the box office Smash, The Dark Knight in 2008, also with Bale in the lead. Nolan made it a trilogy with 2012′s The Dark Knight Rises.

Personally, Bale is my least favorite Batman. He’s a fine actor, but his ridiculous growl while in costume just doesn’t work for me.

So, that brings us to the possibility of  a Ryan Reynolds Batman movie.

I think Reynolds could do a great job with the part for several reasons:

Ryan Reynolds Batman Follow Me on Pinterest 1) He has tons of experience with comic book roles. He’s played Hannibal King in Blade 3 and Hal Jordan in Green Lantern, and Deadpool in the Wolverine movie. He has another comic book movie, R.I.P.D, upcoming and he’s been tied to a solo Deadpool project for years. He’s also been announced as the next Highlander, which isn’t based on a comic, but is a genre series.

2) He’s a good actor. Like Michael Keaton, many will think of him as a guy who mainly does comedies, but he’s had quite a few dramatic roles: Amityville, Smokin’ Aces, and Buried. Of course, sense he’s so good at comedy, Ryan Reynolds Batman could be infused with more humor than we’ve seen in the past.

3) He would have the look of Bruce Wayne/Batman. He’d be equally adept at portraying the playboy Bruce Wayne, and he’s in such great shape that they wouldn’t need to pad the batsuit to make him look muscular.

Of course, a lot of this, like any movie, depends on the director. A director like Duncan Jones would be a good choice because it’s unlikely he would make a cheesball movie.

So Will We See a Ryan Reynolds Batman Flick?

Who knows? A lot will depend on what direction the studio wants to go, but I honestly think Ryan Reynolds Batman has a nice ring to it.
